What is JOINA?

JOINA is quoting and estimating software for cabinetmakers and joinery businesses. Users can start from project drawings or build rooms and cabinetry manually, then review materials, hardware, labour, overhead and margin before preparing a quotation.

The workflow is intended to keep project scope and pricing inputs connected. Cut-list detail and visual nesting support material takeoff and quote review; they are not manufacturing outputs.

Who JOINA is designed for

JOINA is intended for people involved in preparing cabinetry and joinery quotes: owner-operators, estimators and teams organising kitchens, laundries, wardrobes, vanities and custom cabinetry. The responsible person in each business remains accountable for confirming scope and approving the price issued to a client.

A practical product approach

JOINA treats quote preparation as structured work rather than a single automatic result. Rooms, cabinetry, finishes, hardware, labour, overhead and margin need defined places so they can be checked and revised without losing the pricing basis.

Manual entry remains important. Site measurements, sketches, early concepts and incomplete drawing sets may be better suited to building rooms and cabinets directly. A hybrid workflow can use available drawing information and manual editing together.

Automation assists setup; it does not remove review

Drawing-assisted processing can prepare available project details as an editable starting point. Drawings may contain missing dimensions, conflicting notes, incomplete schedules or revisions that require professional judgment. Users should review extracted details and assumptions before finalising scope or issuing a quote.

JOINA does not claim that every drawing set can be processed without assumptions, that extraction is always correct or that estimator responsibility disappears.

The review principle

Software can organise information and apply configured pricing consistently. The cabinetmaker or estimator decides what is accepted, corrected, included and issued.

How JOINA handles product and customer claims

Product pages can explain the workflow JOINA is designed to support. Customer outcomes, time savings and endorsements require separate evidence such as approved feedback, a real anonymised project or measured usage. JOINA does not publish customer names, logos or quotes solely because a business created an account.

The public resource library provides practical guidance and transparent limitations. It does not replace project-specific estimating, accounting, legal or professional advice.
